About the role
The Salt Lake City office of Wilson & Company, Engineers & Architects is seeking a full-time Engineer in Training to support our Bridge Engineering group. The ideal candidate will have experience in bridge and structural design projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic design of bridge/structural design.
- Support production of construction plans and documents.
- Complete quantity take-offs and cost estimating.
- Collaborate with other disciplines both internal and external.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and an understanding of engineering principles.
- Experience in CADD utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroStation.
- Proven teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite products including Word and Excel.
- Good intrapersonal skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas to peers, senior staff, and clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related curriculum from an ABET accredited school.
- Engineering Intern Certification.
- 0-2 + years’ experience in civil design focused on Bridge/Structures.
- Able to effectively work with other engineers and technicians.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation software is highly preferred.

Pay
$70,000-$85,000+ (Depending on Experience)
