Responsibilities

• Conduct first, second, and final fittings with brides for their wedding gowns
• Create custom alterations such as hemming, side seams, bodice shaping, neckline adjustments, and sleeve modifications
• Tailor bustles to the dress design and the bride's preference
• Handle bridesmaid dresses, mother-of-the-bride gowns, and ceremony attire alongside the main gown
• Guide brides through the process, including what is possible with their dress, timelines, and expectations on the day

Requirements

• Demonstrated bridal alteration experience (portfolio or references welcome)
• Confidence working with high-value gowns and the patience to fit them properly
• A strong customer-facing presence, helping brides feel at ease
• A reliable workspace with adequate space for fitting and steaming
