About the Role

Craftsmen skilled in all aspects of refractory material and anchor system installation. Responsible for the quality of refractory installation and directing labor employees to ensure they are constantly supplied with the necessary material and equipment to maintain a productive workforce.

Able to install anchor systems for refractory installation and pass numerous skill level tests to qualify as a journeyman. Operate gunite equipment, install refractory brick, and have experience ramming plastic refractories.

Requirements

• API or NCEER refractory certifications recommended
• Welding certification recommended
• Three (3) or more years of refractory work experience
• Refractory journeyman qualification
