Responsibilities
- Oversees operations to complete filtration and brewing schedule requirements
- Ensures team follows all safety protocols and policies, including following GMPs and wearing appropriate PPE at all times
- Troubleshaots production issues
- Ensures quality and TTB compliance
- Manages data entry of production records during their shift
- Conducts shift hand-off meetings with to ensure effective shift exchange
- Analyzes and resolves challenges within the Brewhouse and assists team members with problem solving and troubleshooting as issues arise
- Provides coaching to operators as needed to ensure safety and professional growth
- Initiates personnel actions, such as performance evaluations and disciplinary measures
- Aids in inventory management across the Brewhouse
- Aids in internal auditing, such as for GMP, HACCP and Safety
- Ensures compliance with Internal, Federal, State and local guidelines and regulations including GMP, HACCP, OSHA, FDA and TTB
- Finds opportunities for increased efficiency and trains operators on new ways of working to do so
- Led team through new product implementations to ensure clarity and quality throughout the production cycle
Requirements
- Associates Degree and/or brewing studies preferred. Will consider high school diploma with combination of work experience to include technical brewing knowledge and frontline leadership
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in a production facility; beverage/food production experience, preferred
- Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Prior experience successfully coaching and mentoring team members
- Strong computer skills; proficiency in MS Office Suite, including MS Excel
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including weekends, to maintain 24/7 production
