About the role
First and foremost, our Brewers must have a passion for the craft of beer making and creating exceptional beers for our customers. This position includes the operation and basic maintenance of raw materials handling, brewhouse operations, cellar management, and filtration procedures. Additional responsibilities include the analysis of various production and quality parameters. Candidates must be committed to quality, understand brewery sanitation, and help create a safe work environment while embracing continuous improvement.

- Perform physical tasks requiring strength, flexibility, and stamina, including lifting 55 lbs. repeatedly
- Rotate through three shifts (early, swing, and night shifts), including weekends and holidays

Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience as a brewer or food plant operator preferred
- Expert-level understanding of brewing, cellaring, and filtration processes is strongly desired
- Expert-level skills working with automated processes, interfaces, databases, and manual brewery operations is strongly desired
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry heavy grain sacks, kegs, and other brewing equipment, typically up to 55 pounds or more
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, and climbing ladders within the brewery
- Working in environments with significant temperature fluctuations, including hot and cold areas
- Ability to operate valves, hoses, and other brewing equipment with precision
- Sustained physical activity throughout a long shift, often requiring continuous movement
