Responsibilities

  • Exceed sales forecast objectives for capital equipment, consumables, and service product lines.
  • Develop and execute sales plans, gap analyses, marketing, and educational strategies.
  • Present and sell Hologic’s value proposition to stakeholders at all levels, establishing trusted advisor relationships.
  • Develop new prospects and manage the sales funnel to track activity and provide accurate forecasts.
  • Leverage internal teams (Sales, Clinical, Service, National Accounts) to optimize customer experience.
  • Demonstrate technology in operating rooms, pathology labs, and breast centers.
  • Provide onsite training and technical support during procedures to ensure proper product use.
  • Attend corporate training, sales meetings, conventions, and in-field development courses.
  • Create and implement custom promotional programs for regional customers and decision-makers.
  • Provide feedback on product performance, competition, marketing practices, and customer satisfaction.
  • Submit reports on territory operations, product acceptance, and competitive activity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience in capital equipment and/or medical instrument sales; operating room experience and surgeon collaboration is desirable.
  • Ability to develop markets for new products/technologies and surgical procedures.
  • Familiarity with clinical and economic outcome data, reimbursement, and managed care policies.
  • Experience developing professional education courses for surgeons and nursing staff.
  • Provide surgical procedure and technical product support in accordance with company policy.
  • Track record of success in complex, matrixed environments with strong problem-solving and strategic skills.
  • Proven negotiation skills with supply chain (capital sales).
  • High business and financial acumen with strong emotional intelligence.
  • History of top performance (e.g., Presidents Club) and consistent revenue growth.
  • Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and a serviceable vehicle for work use.

Schedule

Overnight travel required up to 50%, depending on the territory.

Pay

The total compensation range for this role is $200,000 to $230,000, structured as 100% commission-based. Final compensation depends on territory and performance versus quota.
