About the role
The ideal candidate will be board certified in general surgery and have successfully completed a fellowship in breast surgery. Surgical procedures include mastectomies, lumpectomies, excisional biopsies, and port placement for chemotherapy along with other breast surgery general procedures.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a breast care program at Piedmont Eastside Hospital in Snellville, GA.
- Perform surgical procedures including mastectomies, lumpectomies, excisional biopsies, and port placement for chemotherapy.
- Collaborate with medical oncology team to provide comprehensive care for patients with breast cancer.
Requirements
- Board certification in general surgery.
- Successful completion of a fellowship in breast surgery.
- Experience in performing surgical procedures related to breast cancer treatment.
