About the role

The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Breast Imaging.

Requirements

• M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
• American Board of Radiology certified or eligible
• Sub-specialty training in Breast Imaging

Responsibilities

• Daily clinical supervision of residents and breast imaging fellows
• Lecturing to medical students, radiology residents, fellows, and trainees from other departments
• Utilizing advanced breast imaging technology to provide individually tailored, comprehensive evaluations for early and precise detection and diagnosis of breast diseases
• Conducting high-quality interventional breast procedures, including stereotactic, ultrasound-guided, and MRI-guided biopsies
• Developing a focused body of research in a field within breast imaging, including clinical and translational research on applying imaging methods to detection, diagnosis, and evaluation of breast disease

Qualifications

• Prior research experience
• Demonstrated evidence of peer-reviewed scholarship
