About the role
The Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Interventional Radiology at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida invites applications for a full-time faculty appointment at the level of Assistant or Associate in the Division of Breast Imaging.
Responsibilities
- Focus on Diagnostic Imaging in cancer patients including CT, MRI, US, Nuclear Medicine, and plain films according to sub-specialty.
- Teach fellows, residents, and students.
- Practice medicine within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center.
- Participate in multi-institutional clinical trials and research.
- Contribute to the research and development of new diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.
Requirements
- American Board of Radiology or American Board of Nuclear Medicine certification.
- Sub-specialty fellowship training in breast imaging.
- A Florida medical license or eligibility for one.
- Board certification/eligibility in Radiology.
- Experience in a multi-disciplinary academic clinical practice setting.
Qualifications
- An M.D. degree or equivalent.
- University of South Florida residents rotate through the division on a monthly basis.
- Large number of research and teaching opportunities available.
- Eligible for academic appointments at the University of South Florida College of Medicine.
Skills
- Expertise in multi-modality breast imaging.
- Experience in image-guided breast biopsies.
- Ability to participate in multi-institutional clinical trials and research.

$490,027.20 - $607,833.62
