Responsibilities
- Seat guests and take accurate food orders
- Monitor food distribution to ensure meals are delivered to the correct recipients, properly prepared, and nicely presented (or buffets are appealing)
- Check station before, during, and after shifts for proper set-up and cleanliness
- Abide by all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations, including serving alcoholic beverages responsibly
- Familiarize yourself with all menu items, their preparation, and service procedures
- Total checks, present them to guests, and process payments
- Assist with bussing tables
- Perform various other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school education (post-high school education preferred)
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a hotel or restaurant serving role
Skills
- Team player with the ability to multi-task
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to exceed guest and team member expectations
- Proficiency in operating equipment such as cash registers and calculators
- Basic mathematical skills for making change and processing refunds
- Willingness to work flexible hours and shifts
Pay
Compensation range: $13.50 per hour.
