Responsibilities

• Seat guests and take accurate food orders
• Monitor food distribution to ensure meals are delivered to the correct recipients, properly prepared, and nicely presented (or buffets are appealing)
• Check station before, during, and after shifts for proper set-up and cleanliness
• Abide by all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations, including serving alcoholic beverages responsibly
• Familiarize yourself with all menu items, their preparation, and service procedures
• Total checks, present them to guests, and process payments
• Assist with bussing tables
• Perform various other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school education (post-high school education preferred)
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a hotel or restaurant serving role

Skills

• Team player with the ability to multi-task
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to exceed guest and team member expectations
• Proficiency in operating equipment such as cash registers and calculators
• Basic mathematical skills for making change and processing refunds
• Willingness to work flexible hours and shifts

Pay

Compensation range: $13.50 per hour.
