BREAKFAST CAPTAIN (FULL TIME)

About the role

Marcel is a new continental restaurant in the iconic Breuer building on Madison Avenue. The restaurant is a partnership between the design brand Roman and Williams and Sotheby’s, whose future New York headquarters will be in the Breuer. Marcel is Roman and Williams’ second restaurant, following their celebrated downtown restaurant La Mercerie, and will also include La Mercerie Patisserie.

Responsibilities

• Takes and delivers food/drink orders while creating an overall enjoyable dining experience and promoting a clean and safe environment for guests.
• Serves as the point person through which all work related requests are communicated to unit management.
• Trains and acclimates new associates to the company culture, the client's culture and the operations.
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of all menu items and ingredients.
• Promptly addresses and corrects any complaints or issues.
• Assists in the selection and orientation of employees and oversees training of staff in areas of responsibility.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous fine dining experience is required.

Schedule

Full time; Days and hours may vary. Morning and weekend availability is required.

Pay

Fixed Pay Rate: $11.35 per hour.
