About the role

Work alongside talented and passionate culinary professionals to compose and scratch-bake goods like croissants, Viennoiserie, pastries, scones, quick breads, muffins, coffeecakes, and more in our state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities

• Create and trial new recipes while mastering the tried-and-true favorites.
• Show off your creativity during catered events hosted at Epic.
• Enjoy a high level of autonomy and opportunities to grow into leadership and management roles.
• Live affordably in a city known for its rising tech talent.

Requirements

• 2+ years baking in a professional kitchen.
• A Baking & Pastry Arts degree (large-volume experience is a plus).
• Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Relocation to Madison, WI area (relocation assistance available).
• Comfortable with regular lifting of 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

• Creative and passionate about baking.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with large-volume production and food safety protocols.

Skills

• Proficiency in pastry arts techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items.
