Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present breakfast items according to Hampton Inn standards.
- Set up the breakfast area before service begins and ensure all food, beverages, and supplies are stocked throughout service.
- Maintain cleanliness of breakfast and dining areas, including counters, tables, floors, and equipment.
- Respond promptly and politely to guest requests, questions, or concerns.
- Monitor food quality and presentation throughout service, replenishing as needed.
- Handle spills, messes, and unexpected situations quickly and safely.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and brand standards at all times.
- Clean and store equipment properly after service and assist with dishwashing.
- Communicate low inventory or supply needs to management promptly. (Complete accurate stock counts weekly).
- Work cooperatively with other team members and departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.
Requirements
- Must be dependable and punctual with reliable transportation.
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
- Must be available for early morning shifts (typically starting between 5:00–6:00 a.m.).
- Willing to Complete Food Handlers Certification (or have a valid certificate).
- Prior hospitality or food service experience is preferred but not required.
- Must maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times.
