Brand new Home2 Suites by Hilton in Queensbury, NY is seeking a dynamic, friendly, and motivated Breakfast Attendant.

About the role

The Breakfast Attendant will oversee the breakfast area for guests, prepare food and beverage, maintain a clean kitchen and dining area, interact with guests, answer questions about the hotel and the area, and create a warm, welcoming experience.

Responsibilities

• Weekends required; shift typically 6 a.m.–12 p.m., possibly longer
• Set up and break down food service
• Clean all equipment and areas
• Prepare breakfast food and beverage items following food-safety regulations
• Set out all hot and cold food items
• Replenish food and beverage items during the meal period
• Keep all items fully stocked
• Ensure all foods are kept at safe temperatures
• Bus and clean all tables
• Greet each guest as they arrive and build friendly rapport
• Solve problems when able; report complaints or issues to management immediately
• Work in a fast-paced environment with continual walking and standing

Requirements

• Friendly, dynamic individual who loves working with people
• Previous hotel or food-service experience strongly preferred but not required
• High-school diploma or equivalent
• Early-morning, weekend, and holiday availability
• Must be able to work between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Pay

$17.50 per hour plus tips and a summer bonus.
