Breakfast Attendant

Join our team as a Breakfast Attendant and set the tone for a successful day with your welcoming smile and genuine care for guests.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with genuine care and deliver highly attentive service.
• Engage in polite conversation as time allows.
• Be fully informed of continental breakfast options.
• Set up the breakfast area for service and stock all self-service areas with proper equipment and food items.
• Maintain proper standards of sanitation and physical appearance of the breakfast area.
• Obtain food supplies from the food storeroom and comply with all food safety and quality assurance standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Complete prep work as required for the next shift and break down the breakfast area, returning all unused items to their appropriate places.
• Store food and perishables according to procedures to avoid spoiling and loss.
• Clean chairs, tables, and floors.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Requirements

• Professional demeanor, warm and welcoming personality, and ability to engage easily with others.
• Genuinely caring, compassionate, and comfortable conversing with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Previous bartender experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods or entire shifts.
• Professional appearance and clean uniform.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance.
• Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print).
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and steps.
