Breakfast Associate
Shifts for this role are Monday–Friday 5:30 AM–11:30 AM and Saturday–Sunday 6:00 AM–12:00 PM. Additional hours are available during banquet events for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon breaks.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and monitor the dining area during meal service to ensure adequate supplies, guest needs are met, and the breakfast area supports the hotel’s hospitality image and objectives
- Plan breakfast menus according to brand recommendations and facility needs
- Prepare room set-up and ensure cleanliness and working condition of equipment in the area
- Manage inventory of food and utensils
- Prepare daily breakfast menu of hot and cold breakfast foods
- Follow required sanitation procedures for food-handling safety
- Respond promptly and appropriately to any guest questions or concerns
- Break down breakfast area at the end of the meal period, ensuring a clean facility ready for the next meal
Requirements
- Neat, organized, and efficient
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Obtain and maintain any required food-handling certificates
Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.
Pay
$15.15 per hour plus tips (tips are yours to keep and are not required to be split).
