Cafeteria Associate

Schedule

Per diem, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts available: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm and 11:00 am – 7:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register using proper cash handling techniques.
• Maintain sanitation and clean assigned areas in the kitchen and café.
• Provide customer service to staff, guests, and patients in the café.

Requirements

• Skill in cash handling, portioning, food delivery, and customer service.
• Knowledge of policies and procedures related to cash handling, customer service, and food distribution.
• Ability to work independently, make flexible decisions, and prioritize assignments.
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with associates, customers, guests, and patients.
• Guard the confidentiality of sensitive information, including patients, staff, and the health system.
• Availability to work rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Preferred: three months of food service or cash register-related experience.
• Preferred: ServSafe certification.

Pay

Pay range: $17.93 – $20.50 per hour. Starting rate based on experience.
