Break Relief – 1st & 2nd Shift

Job Description

Brief overview of the role and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide break and lunch coverage for production employees in multiple areas.
• Learn and assist with different production roles throughout the facility.
• Support corn cooking, grinding, sheeting/toasting, packaging, palletizing, quality checks, and line operations as needed.
• Aid in machine operation, product flow, and production line support.
• Maintain product quality and report any concerns to leadership or quality personnel.
• Follow all food safety, GMP, SQF, and company quality standards.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of trash or non-conforming product.
• Wear all required PPE and follow safety procedures at all times.
• Communicate effectively with team members, leads, supervisors, maintenance, and quality staff.
• Assist with general housekeeping and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Willingness to learn multiple production positions.
• Previous food production, manufacturing, warehouse, machine operation, or packaging experience preferred.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Able to work in a warm, fast-paced production environment.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
• Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
• Dependable and able to move between work areas as needed.
• Able to work scheduled hours and required overtime.
• Able to follow all safety, PPE, GMP, SQF, and quality requirements.
• Able to complete required company training.
