A Day in the Life
- Assist and guide patients through each step of their visit
- Listen to patients' concerns and help them feel at ease
- Gather medical histories
- Perform vision testing and imaging
- Prepare exam rooms
- Document clinical notes
- Support physicians during treatments and procedures
Requirements
- Dependable, eager to learn, and passionate about helping others
- No prior ophthalmic experience required
- Valid Texas driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Specific vision abilities required including viewing multiple computer screens, close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and adjusting focus
