What Drives Success
Under direct supervision, brazes together components using torch or brazing machine and flux.
- Guides torch and rod along joint of work pieces to heat to brazing temperature, melt braze alloy, and bond work pieces together.
- Affixes components to base material using welding techniques.
- Assists with setting up equipment, selecting torch tip, flux, and brazing alloy based on data charts or work order.
What We Are Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Some experience brazing CU/CU on an assembly line.
- Basic understanding of data charts, specification diagrams, and work orders.
- Able to determine required equipment and settings.
- Precision control and dexterity.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
- May be required to take related training and/or pass skills tests required for this level.
What We Offer
- Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $20.90/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
