Brazer – HVAC / Chiller Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

• Perform brazing operations using gas torches on copper piping and components using filler metals
• Brazing on copper pipe diameters ranging from 1.5 inches to 4 inches minimum
• Assemble valves, compressors, evaporators, and related HVAC/chiller components
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, shop orders, and work instructions
• Perform first-article inspections and identify dimensional or quality defects
• Use power tools, hand tools, saws, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work collaboratively across departments and shifts to support production goals
• Support continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives
• Utilize ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools for production tracking and inventory support
• Train across multiple production areas and assist where needed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of brazing experience in manufacturing, HVAC, piping, refrigeration, or related industries
• Experience brazing copper piping systems from 1.5” to 4” diameter required
• Ability to produce high-quality, precision brazing work
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment
• Basic computer skills required
• Strong attention to detail, safety, and workmanship
• Must be flexible and open to day or night shifts
