Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain FANUC robotic systems used in automated brazing operations.
- Develop, modify, and optimize FANUC Tool Handling applications and robot programs.
- Configure and support communication between FANUC robots and external equipment, controls, and manufacturing systems.
- Develop and maintain Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI applications using Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk software platforms.
- Support integration between FANUC robot controllers, PLCs, HMIs, and peripheral equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, robotic, and control system issues to minimize downtime.
- Manage and maintain recipe storage and retrieval systems using Ignition and SQL Server databases.
- Assist with commissioning, testing, and validation of automation equipment and process improvements.
- Perform preventative maintenance on robotic and automated systems.
- Document programming changes, troubleshooting activities, and system improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to improve system reliability, quality, and efficiency.
- Independently operate equipment in an efficient and safe manner while meeting required quality standards.
- Follow Company personnel and product safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Robotics, Automation, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Experience programming and troubleshooting FANUC robots, including Tool Handling applications.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, Studio 5000, and HMI development/troubleshooting.
- Experience integrating robotic systems with PLCs, HMIs, and external manufacturing equipment.
- Working knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical controls, automation systems, and robotics.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Experience supporting automated brazing, welding, or thermal processing equipment.
- Experience with Ignition SCADA and SQL Server database administration or development.
- Knowledge of manufacturing recipe management and data collection systems.
- Experience with vision systems, sensors, and industrial automation integration.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Must be adaptable to a changing work environment and competing demands.
- Must have the knowledge and experience necessary for the position.
- Must be able to follow instructions and procedures and work with minimal supervision.
