Ted Brown Music, a trusted and family-owned business since 1931, is seeking an experienced Brass Instructor to join our team. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to fostering the musical growth of students of all ages and abilities, providing high-quality private lessons in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach private lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.
• Provide personalized instruction tailored to each student’s goals, whether for professional development or personal enrichment.
• Cultivate a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity and musical exploration.
• Provide guidance to students aspiring to pursue careers in music and those seeking to deepen their musical knowledge for enjoyment.
• Flexibility to expand availability based on demand.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a brass instructor, with a strong background in teaching children and adults.
• Proven experience with trumpet, trombone, french horn or tuba.
• A passion for music education and the ability to inspire students.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to tailor teaching methods to individual learning styles.
• Ability to create a welcoming, engaging atmosphere that fosters artistic growth.
• Completion of a criminal background check upon hire.
