Responsibilities
- Develop organizational content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term business objectives.
- Create and maintain a content and editorial calendar in collaboration with management.
- Collaborate with Marketing Team to plan and develop content for promotional campaigns as well as evergreen product communications.
- Assist the Marketing Team in creating visuals for multiple channels including email, website, social media, brochures, videos, and other collateral.
- Serve as the main copywriter for all channels; as well as edit, proofread, and improve copy provided from other sources – both internal and external.
- Cookordination marketing communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Competitive research and analysis.
- Manage quarterly member newsletter process – editorial, production and distribution.
- Stay up to date with developments and generate new ideas to draw the audience's attention.
- Represent the credit union at marketing events as needed.
- Manage one team member.
Requirements
- Qualified candidates will have a bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience as a Brand Manager or equivalent.
- PORTFOLIO REQUIRED - must have both copywriting and visual samples.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud apps and MS Office required.
- Knowledge of graphic design, web and email production – including responsive design - preferred.
- Video production and editing experience preferred.
- Creative, but analytical and a strategic thinker – able to see the bigger picture.
- Familiarity with social media best practices.
- Excellent writing skills in English.
- Detail oriented with good organizational and time-management.
- Familiarity with email management platforms (i.e. MailChimp), Asana (or similar project management platform) and CMS (i.e. HubSpot).
Qualifications
- Must be able to function in a normal office environment with regular contact with other employees.
- Must be able to sit frequently.
- Must be able to communicate through speaking and hearing and use visual acuity for reporting and presenting information to other employees, credit union members, and/or vendors and other third-party members.
- Must be able to distinguish color for designing and editing website and
- Must be able to lift a moderate weight of 15 to 45 lbs. occasionally, such as for lifting marketing.
