About the role
We are looking for a Brand Director to lead client accounts at Boncom, an advertising and communications agency. We develop innovative and strategic campaigns for cause-oriented organizations focused on doing good in the world. Our team brings meaningful messages to life through both traditional and digital realms.
Responsibilities
- Focus on client objectives and outline steps to accomplish them.
- Maintain strong working relationships and establish trust with client counterparts.
- Communicate clearly about expectations, plans, deliverables, and changes with clients and internal teams.
- Ensure all team members and agency partners, including the client, are appropriately engaged.
- Work extensively on technical aspects of client businesses, including websites and marketing automation.
- Build internal reports of client activities, monthly revenue forecasts, and future account development plans.
- Participate in developing proposals and delivering dynamic, strategically relevant client presentations.
- Anticipate and resolve problems, especially regarding strategy, budget, and resource allocation.
- Keep the team informed of relevant client and market/industry developments.
- Assist in new business opportunities for existing and potential clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 8–10+ years in an advertising agency role with strong brand management, brand marketing, or marketing management experience.
- Experience working on technical aspects of a business, including websites, marketing automation, or international campaigns.
- Proven project management skills: highly organized, efficient, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent diplomacy, presentation, and persuasion skills.
- Comfortable navigating the complexities of a busy agency with diverse clients.

- Digital marketing and media background.
- Video production experience.
- Budget and financial management experience.
- Experience leading teams to productive and collaborative outcomes.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communications skills.
- Familiarity with creative problem-solving; resourceful and proactive.
- Motivated to take on challenges.
- Proficiency in Spanish, French, and/or Portuguese.
