- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with distributor sales representatives, district managers, and leadership teams.
- Conduct regular work-withs and market visits with distributor personnel to drive account execution and brand awareness.
- Influence distributor priorities and secure support for key account initiatives and promotional programs.
- Dynamic, outgoing personality, and the courage to drive a new brand with the trade and consumers.
- Strong, competitive spirit, and a passion for building a new, national brand, and being part of a winning team that shares in its success.
- Frequent moving of product cases, event materials and barware, up to 50 pounds.
- This position requires regular evening and weekend work. Candidates must be available to attend consumer events, account activations, tastings, staff trainings, and industry functions outside traditional business hours.
- Evening and weekend availability is considered an essential function of the role.
- Growth in active account base and account engagement throughout Manhattan and surrounding NYC boroughs.
- Increased menu placements, cocktail features, and visibility within influential on-premise accounts.
- Consistent achievement of monthly depletion and distribution goals. KPI's reviewed monthly, quarterly, H1, H2, and annually.
- Strong relationships with distributor personnel, account buyers, bartenders, beverage directors, and hospitality groups.
- Successful planning and execution of tastings, activations, trade events, and consumer-facing experiences.
- Development of strategic partnerships that increase brand visibility and credibility within the NYC market.
- Consistent market presence and account coverage in key neighborhoods and trade channels.
- Timely completion of reporting, expense management, and follow-up activities.
- Active social media engagement that drives awareness among trade, consumers, and key market influencers.
- Reside in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, or the greater New York City market.
- 3+ years of beverage alcohol industry experience.
- Supplier, distributor, or agency experience preferred.
- Strong existing relationships within the NYC hospitality and beverage community preferred.
- Proven success building distributor relationships and driving account execution.
- Experience managing both on-premise and off-premise accounts.
- Able to work independently in a remote, field-based environment.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
- Strong presentation, networking, and account management skills.
- Strong social media influence.
- Ability to manage an ad hoc schedule.
- A valid driver’s license and automobile or other form of transportation (travel within territory).
- Outgoing, competitive personality with superior presentation skills.
- Excellent budget management skills.
- Must be able to thrive in a team setting.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- The annual base compensation for this position is $80,000+ with a competitive annual performance bonus. Subject to company bonus plan terms and conditions.
- This is an exempt position (not subject to overtime).
