Job Summary
The Brand Communications Manager is responsible for developing brand communications content and executing on brand activation that aligns with business goals and supports business growth.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Oversight and project management - Planning, agency management, digital transformation
- Digital content - Copywriting, content strategy and calendar, campaign planning and execution, social media oversight, video development
- Branding & Campaigns - Global brand campaigns, trade media engagement, internal colleague alignment, intranet development
- Engagement with trade media - Building brand awareness, events for trade media coordination
- Aligning internal colleagues to build brand equity - Intranet execution plan, collaborative content creation, promoting positive company culture
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, media studies or related discipline
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, proficiency in AP Style
- Eight or more years of work experience in journalism, communications, marketing agency or a related field
- Experience using and managing social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience writing for and supporting executive communications, managing agency relationships, planning a yearly social media calendar with multiple themes across diverse businesses
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and AI tools (e.g., Google Gemini)
Preferred Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
- Media experience including but not limited to paid media, earned content, shared media and writing original press releases
- Script and creative direction for in-house made videos
