Responsibilities
- Engage directly with your community at hardware and grocery stores as well as fun events like farmers markets and home shows using your people skills from previous entry level sales roles, retail or customer service positions.
- The primary goal of this position is customer acquisition, so if you don’t mind talking to strangers then you’ll do great here.
- Table for HomeWorks Energy and the Mass Save program at retail locations and events.
- Schedule customers for a Home Energy Assessment or other in-home visits as needed.
- Perform event setup and breakdown which requires carrying a table and a 25-pound tent to events. Setup and breakdown require manual dexterity.
- Attends bi-weekly team meetings, some of which are in Charleston, MA.
- Drives to events and tabling locations up to 1 hour away.
- Performs other duties as required.
Requirements
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable form of transportation.
- Must be okay traveling to territory locations up to 1 hour away (mileage is reimbursed).
- Must be 18 years of age.
Compensation
$23 per hour plus the opportunity to earn weekly commission of $200-$300 per week.
