Brand Alliance - Sr Manager, Partnership Development

About the role

The Sr. Manager, Partnership Development role at Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride is seeking an experienced partnership sales professional with a proven track record in building relationships and generating new business revenue.

Responsibilities

• Possess strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and communicating with C-Level executives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, generate qualified leads, and develop unique and customized proposals.
• Negotiate partnership contracts and collaborate with various internal departments to create mutually beneficial partnership assets.
• Work game days, weekends, and special events to assist with activations and entertain partners.
• Continually manage and update individual sales pipeline through CRM platforms for accurate sales forecasting.
• Collaborate with the Brand Alliance Marketing team to ensure proper fulfillment of partnership agreements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of successful sports sponsorship, partnership, or new business development experience.
• Proven track record in high-level B2B selling and deal construction with local, regional, and national brands.
• Data-driven sales mindset to leverage insights from the Business Intelligence team.
• Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and communicate with all internal and external clients.
• Proficient in sales tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SponsorUnited, and Digideck.
• Ability to work well on a team and independently, with professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours, including weekends, holidays, and game days.
• Passport and reliable transportation for offsite client meetings and events.
• Experience in the Florida marketplace preferred but not required.
• The ability to pass a background screening and attain and maintain Safesport certification.
• Spanish or Portuguese language skills a plus but not required.
