Brand Advocate Position in Akron, Ohio

About the Role

Cellairis is looking for self-motivated individuals to serve as Brand Advocates in a highly visible, fast-paced, and competitive retail role. This position involves performing customer conversion sales at the store entrance by enticing walk-by customers with free products to encourage them to visit the store and make a purchase. You will use the AIDA model (attention, interest, desire, action) based scripts to drive customers to the Cellairis counter, where they can receive a repair quote or join the mailing list.

Responsibilities

• Engage walk-by customers using free product offers to drive them into the store.
• Use AIDA-based scripts to persuade customers to visit the Cellairis counter.
• Encourage customers to show their broken phones, receive repair quotes, or join the mailing list.
• Ensure customers agree to participation terms to receive free goods or services.

• Genuine Customer Service: Shows genuine concern for customers and knows the Customer Service Guide front to back.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, highly energetic, and approachable.
• Genuine customer service skills and ability to develop relationships with clients.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 25 lbs.
• Own reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License.
• Professional appearance.
• Manageable commute (Cellairis reserves the right to determine acceptable commute distance).

Qualifications

• Retail experience recommended but not required: 1-3 years in a retail sales environment.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Sampling selling experience is a plus.

Physical & Other Requirements

• Candidates must have their own (not public) means of transportation.
• Subject to Reference Check, Background Check, Credit Check, Drug Screen, Skills Assessment, Personality Assessment, and Language Proficiency Testing.
• Smoke-free work environment; preference for non-smokers.
