Branch Warehouse Associate

About the Role

Industrial Supply is looking for a Warehouse & Customer Service Associate to join our Elko, Nevada branch. This full-time position supports day-to-day operations, including warehouse tasks, customer service, and local deliveries. You’ll work throughout the branch—receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, assisting customers at the front counter, and making deliveries as needed. This is a hands-on role with variety, ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy and contributing to a local team.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse & Inventory
  • Receive incoming shipments and unload products safely.
  • Verify incoming products and quantities against purchase orders and documentation.
  • Stock and organize inventory in appropriate warehouse locations.
  • Pick products accurately to fulfill customer orders.
  • Pack, label, and stage orders for pickup or delivery.
  • Review sales orders, work orders, and shipping documents for accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate and organized inventory records.
  • Keep warehouse shelves, racks, bins, and staging areas clean and organized.
  • Assist with loading and unloading products and pallets.
• Customer Service
  • Greet and assist walk-in customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Help customers with orders, product pickups, and general questions.
  • Work with branch team members to handle customer needs quickly and accurately.
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding orders and deliveries.
• Local Deliveries
  • Make local customer deliveries when needed.
  • Load and secure customer orders for safe transportation.
  • Verify orders before leaving the branch to ensure delivery accuracy.
  • Provide professional, courteous service during customer interactions.
  • Perform routine vehicle checks and maintain company vehicles.
  • Follow applicable driving, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Branch Support
  • Assist coworkers and maintain warehouse operations.
  • Help with customer orders or special projects as assigned by the Branch Customer Service Lead.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience (receiving, stocking, picking, or packing).
• Customer service or counter sales experience.
• Experience in industrial supply, construction supply, automotive parts, distribution, retail, or related fields.
• Delivery driving experience with customer interaction.
• Familiarity with sales or order-processing systems.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Load and unload products and pallets.
• Regularly stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and move products.
• Safely navigate a warehouse environment.
• Operate a company delivery vehicle legally and safely.
