Job Description
The Branch Supervisor is primarily responsible for providing the necessary vision and leadership to effectively operate and grow branch operations, while ensuring exceptional member service and a strong and cohesive team.
- Manages branch personnel and is responsible for elevating the professional level, competence, and knowledge of both new and existing team members.
- Creates and maintains a strong sales and service culture and holds the team accountable for reaching branch goals.
- Continually evaluates the quality of products and services offered and, through frequent and consistent service observation, the manner in which service is provided by branch personnel.
- Maintains hands-on working knowledge of deposit services and consumer lending to support high-quality service experiences and operational efficiency.
- Provides support within the operations, as needed, while also holding team members accountable for performance and sound decision-making.
- Anticipates operational needs and implements streamlined policies and procedures that ensure efficient branch operations, support a member-focused experience, and drive cost effectiveness.
- Serves as a change agent by embracing technological advancements and championing their effective integration within branch operations.
- Led with a servant-leadership approach by developing staff and strengthening the teams professionalism, competence, and technical knowledge.
- Maintains the overall appearance of assigned branches, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and a welcoming environment for members and staff.
- Works closely with the Facilities team as needed to identify, report, and follow up on maintenance, safety, and aesthetic issues.
- Works closely with other Branch and Lending Supervisors to coordinate scheduling needs across the member service areas, collaborating on member needs and issue resolution to ensure consistent and positive member experiences.
- Promotes a one team philosophy and requires team members to be flexible in assisting in other functions or areas, when necessary.
- Ensures compliance with federal and state rules, regulations, and laws, as they pertain to branch activities and compliance with applicable NCUA rules and regulations.
