Branch Specialist

Join a Great Place To Work certified company! Consumers Credit Union (CCU) is hiring - Our new Huntley is currently seeking two full time Branch Specialists. This is an early career opportunity, interacting with members to face to face with a lot of growth potential and the ability to learn about branch operations!

Responsibilities

• Welcome members in the branch creating a positive first impression
• Aid and educate members on self-service options, including Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs)
• Process transactions accurately and resolve account and service needs
• Open new consumer accounts efficiently and with attention to detail
• Identify opportunities to connect members with loans, mortgages, and wealth management services
• Recommend improvements that enhance the member experience and branch operations
• Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, audits, and balancing standards

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of similar work experience (retail, customer service, guest relations, sales, and cash handling)
• Financial institution, Teller, Personal Banker experience is preferred
• Comfortable promoting products and services and engaging in consultative, sales-oriented conversations
• Strong comfort level with technology, including data systems, Microsoft Office, and web-based tools
• Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build relationships
• Able to multitask, stay organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, team-oriented mindset with a high level of integrity and commitment to inclusion & diversity

Benefits

• Compensation: The salary range for this role is $16.67 - $25.01 per hour. This role is eligible for an annual bonus opportunity.
• Medical (High Deductible, HMO and PPO), dental, vision, spending accounts, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance and other plans effective date of hire.
• Eligible to participate in the 401(k) savings plan at any time.
• Automatic enrollment in the pension plan following six months of employment and 1,000 hours of service and reaching age 20.

Schedule

Monday – Thursday: 8:15AM – 5:15PM, Friday: 8:15AM – 6:15PM, Regular Saturdays: 8:15AM – 1:15PM
