Role Summary
The Branch Service Manager/Team Leader oversees all operations, provides exceptional member service, and manages the branch's budget and performance. They are also responsible for engaging in community business development activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional member service and solve problems promptly.
- Fluidly transition between tasks as an MSA, Sr. MSA, PFR, and Sr. PFR.
- Ensure branch equipment is functioning properly and address malfunctions.
- Engage in community business development activities.
- Oversight of the branch budget and cost management.
- Manage the branch's performance and profitability.
- Train and mentor new team members.
- Oversee scheduling, interviewing, hiring, and the disciplinary process.
- Review and process documents and transactions to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
- Oversee cash activity and ATM management.
- Enroll and assist members with digital banking, fraud disputes, and self-service options.
- Perform branch certifications, cash drawer audits, and OFAC reports.
- Support Gesa Credit Union's attendance policy and volunteer events.
- Adhere to Gesa Credit Union's values and service standards.
- Attend and engage in community events on behalf of the credit union.
- Maintain confidentiality and manage operations in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Pass a pre-employment credit/background check.
Qualifications
- High School Degree (or equivalent) required.
- Two-year degree in related field preferred.
- One (1) year of lending and account opening experience required.
- One (1) year of management experience required.
- Two (2) years of financial industry experience required.
- One (1) year of customer service experience required.
- Sales/relationship building experience required.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Demonstrate and support credit union values and service standards.
- Attend and engage in community events on behalf of the credit union.
- Maintain confidentiality, control risk, and manage operations in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate a high level of personal integrity and ethics.
- Report for work on time and maintain a schedule of regular attendance.
- Some travel may be required.
- Proficient with varying levels of technology.
- Notary Public certification.
