Essential Functions

  • Aids in achieving the strategic goals of the branch through own production and oversight of inside sales and service.
  • Maintains branch compliance with bank policies and procedures and prepares for internal audits.
  • Identifies and addresses client needs, provides solutions such as new accounts, consumer loans, and handles client service issues and complex complaints.
  • Makes appropriate referrals for other bank products and services, including commercial lending products.
  • Oversees the training and performance of branch employees, focusing on both inside and outside sales efforts.
  • Provides coaching, mentoring, and monitors service levels within the branch.
  • Works closely with key partners to achieve sales and service objectives and maintains operational integrity.
  • Processes cash transactions and other customer service duties within the branch.
  • Supports additional assigned responsibilities to help the branch achieve overall success in sales, service, and operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma and 2+ years' experience in retail banking, sales, new accounts, customer service, loan processes, or other directly related experience.
  • Knowledge of the banking industry, processes, procedures, regulations, and products.
  • Knowledge of lending process and procedures.
  • Strong customer service, relationships building, sales, and management skills.
  • Ability to handle various client concerns and problems.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of computer programs, including word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
  • Ability to set and maintain high quality work standards.
  • Ability to lead a group.
  • Ability to deal effectively with people in various job capacities.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish languages is preferred.
