About the Role
As a Branch Sales Manager, you will lead the branch team and be responsible for all elements of the branch business, including ownership of the branch P&L. You will work with company leadership to grow sales, hire and develop personnel, improve operational efficiency, and manage day-to-day activities such as receiving, shipping, sourcing, and inventory management. This position is eligible for performance-based bonuses and incentives.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute a sales plan in a local area to reach and exceed business goals.
- Demonstrate sales excellence daily.
- Effectively lead and motivate your team.
- Expand the existing customer base and identify growth strategies for new sales channels.
- Utilize CE’s proprietary technology to grow sales and promote operational excellence.
- Develop and train team members to surpass personal and professional ambitions.
- Accountable for all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associate's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in Customer Service.
- Prior leadership roles with profit and loss responsibility preferred.
- Experience in leading people in a retail environment.
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly grow sales in a retail environment.
- Experience building and maintaining cross-functional relationships.
- Experience analyzing and using customer, market, and competitor data to make informed decisions and business planning.
- Excellent relationship-building skills; must be a team builder as well as a team player with a focus on sales.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with HVAC contractors strongly desired.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to work in a team environment and be willing to participate.
- Ability to function at an above-average level in a technical environment.
- Prior experience using sales and/or inventory management systems.
