About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Branch Operations Associate Manager for our National Branch Network within the Consumer Banking and Lending division. In this role, you will lead and supervise teller operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise risk and operations of teller functions to deliver exceptional customer service and colleague experience, ensuring timely completion, quality, and compliance.
• Provide feedback and present ideas for improving customer service, colleague experience, and related performance management processes.
• Perform operational and customer support tasks, including resolving or escalating concerns or complaints.
• Engage customers in conversations, build relationships, and provide excellent service.
• Manage the schedule and daily operations of the teller line, making decisions and resolving issues under regional banking management direction.
• Leverage knowledge of applicable regulations, policies, and audit procedures to support compliance.
• Collaborate with branch employees, colleagues, and mid-level managers.
• Coach, motivate, and develop a diverse team to achieve business objectives and meet full potential.
• Manage allocation of people and financial resources for branch operations.
• Mentor and guide talent development, including assisting in hiring.
• Assess and refer customers interested in dwelling-secured products to a SAFE team member without taking applications or negotiating terms.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience assessing and meeting customer needs or helping with issue resolution, demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 1+ years of leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Leadership skills, including the ability to build, develop, and motivate a diverse team.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve complex customer issues.
• Experience in customer service, operations, or financial services management within a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to educate customers on technology, such as mobile banking options.
• Knowledge of banking laws, regulations, compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and exercise independent judgment.
• Relevant military experience, including personnel benefits management, processing orders, or human resources.
• Cash handling experience.

Job Expectations

• Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
• Must meet Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements for Loan Originator (LO) positions, including financial responsibility, character, and criminal background standards.
• Ongoing regulatory requirements may include additional screening.
• This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Pay

$26.75 - $40.50 per hour. Pay may vary based on factors such as prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
