About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Branch Operations Associate Manager for our National Branch Network within the Consumer Banking and Lending division. This role involves leading and supervising teller operations to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring compliance, and managing daily branch operations.

This position includes customer contact and may involve assessing and referring customers interested in dwelling-secured products to a SAFE team member, without taking applications or negotiating terms. Individuals in this role must meet Loan Originator (LO) requirements under Regulation Z.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise risk and operations of teller functions to ensure quality, compliance, and exceptional customer and colleague experiences.
• Provide feedback and ideas for improving customer service, colleague experience, and performance management processes.
• Perform operational and customer support tasks, including resolving or escalating concerns.
• Deliver excellent customer service, engage customers in conversations, and build relationships.
• Manage the schedule and daily operations of the teller line, making decisions to resolve operational issues.
• Leverage knowledge of regulations, policies, and audit procedures to support compliance.
• Collaborate with branch employees, colleagues, and mid-level managers.
• Coach, motivate, and develop a diverse team to achieve business objectives and full potential.
• Manage allocation of people and financial resources for branch operations.
• Mentor and guide talent development, including assisting in hiring.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience assessing and meeting customer needs or resolving issues, demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 1+ years of leadership experience.
• Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
• Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements, including financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness, and criminal background standards. Ongoing regulatory requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Leadership skills, including the ability to build, develop, and motivate a diverse team.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve complex customer issues.
• Experience in customer service, operations, or financial services management within a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to educate customers on technology, such as mobile banking options.
• Knowledge of banking laws, regulations, compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, exercise independent judgment, and use critical thinking.
• Relevant military experience, including personnel benefits management, processing orders, wartime readiness, human resources, or recruiting.
• Cash handling experience.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $26.75 - $40.50 per hour. Pay may vary based on factors such as prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
