Overview

Republic Finance is seeking Interns for their Branch Operations program. The program offers hands-on experience and exposure to various career paths within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Become licensed and go through an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn the loan process and all necessary regulatory training.
  • Aid in daily production of loan origination, processing, closings, and fundings, including file allocation for document preparation, file auditing, and preparing files for funding.
  • Spend time with your Manager and Regional Vice President to understand their roles and career potential within Republic Finance.
  • Attend regional meetings and/or workshops to gain exposure to the larger Branch Operations division of the company.
  • Learn about one or more Branch Operations process improvement related projects.
  • Gain insight into corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are often strongly desired (such as Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting, etc.).
  • Receive an overview of Republic Finance's benefits during the program.

Requirements

  • Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Desired candidates should be eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
  • Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must be eligible for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products.

Pay and Schedule

The Branch Operations Interns are paid $15.00 per hour with the goal of offering full-time employment upon successful completion of the program post-graduation.

The program is 100% onsite and runs for the duration of the internship period, typically lasting several months.
