Branch Operations Intern
Overview
Republic Finance is seeking Interns for their Branch Operations program. This internship offers hands-on experience and exposure to various career paths within the company.
Responsibilities
- Become licensed and go through an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn the loan process and all necessary regulatory training.
- Aid in daily production of loan origination, processing, closings, and fundings, including file allocation for document preparation, file auditing, and preparing files for funding.
- Spend time with your Manager and Regional Vice President to understand their roles and career potential within Republic Finance.
- Attend regional meetings and/or workshops to gain exposure to the larger Branch Operations division of the company.
- Learn about one or more Branch Operations process improvement-related projects.
- Gain insight into corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are often highly valued (such as Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting, etc.).
- Receive an overview of the company's benefits during the program.
Requirements
- Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Desired candidates should be eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
- Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must be eligible for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products.

Pay and Schedule
The Branch Operations Interns are paid $15.00 per hour, with the goal of offering full-time employment upon successful completion of the program post-graduation.
