Branch Operational Specialist

About the role

The Branch Operational Specialist leads critical operational tasks within the branch, including oversight of internal risk processes and procedures, financial center cash management, ATM management, and the annual financial center operational review process. This role supports advanced paying/receiving duties and enhances the overall service and client experience.

The specialist will engage in basic conversational discovery with clients, aligning their needs with appropriate solution recommendations, recognizing client value, and fostering commitment in a repeatable manner to support goal attainment. Strong judgment and decision-making skills are required to balance risk management with client experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee internal risk processes and procedures within the branch.
• Manage financial center cash management processes and ATM operations.
• Lead the annual financial center operational review process.
• Support advanced paying and receiving duties.
• Enhance the overall service and client experience.
• Engage in conversational discovery with clients to identify needs and recommend solutions.
• Recognize client value and foster commitment to support goal attainment.
• Exercise sound judgment to balance risk management with client experience.
• Cross-sell bank products and services.
• Coach and train new hires.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in related banking positions, including bank product and services training.
• Six (6) months of experience in related banking positions may be considered with the completion of a post-secondary 4-year degree.
