Branch Operational Specialist

About the role

The Branch Operational Specialist will lead critical operational tasks within the branch, including oversight of internal risk processes and procedures, financial center cash management, ATM management, and the annual financial center operational review process. This role supports advanced paying/receiving duties and enhances the overall service and client experience.

The specialist will engage in basic conversational discovery with clients, aligning their needs with appropriate solution recommendations, recognizing client value, and securing commitment in a repeatable manner to support goal attainment. Strong judgment and decision-making skills are required to balance risk management with client experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee internal risk processes and procedures
• Manage financial center cash management processes
• Handle ATM management
• Lead the annual financial center operational review process
• Support advanced paying and receiving duties
• Enhance the overall service and client experience
• Engage in conversational discovery with clients to identify needs
• Recommend appropriate solutions and secure client commitment
• Balance risk management with client experience using sound judgment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in related banking positions or six (6) months of experience with the completion of a post-secondary 4-year degree
• Bank product and services training
