Branch Manager II

About the role

Tyndall Federal Credit Union is seeking a dedicated individual to lead the operations of a medium-sized credit union facility. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this position oversees the day-to-day operations, ensures the branch meets strategic objectives, and supports the credit union's mission.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the day-to-day operation of the branch within credit union policies and procedures.
• Creates and manages the budget and operating expenses annually.
• Maintains and improves the financial stability of the branch.
• Directs, develops, trains, motivates, hires, and disciplines branch personnel.
• Administers performance evaluations and recommends appropriate personnel actions.
• Trains and mentors staff to achieve sales and service levels.
• Fosters relationships with the community and area schools to support business development.
• Supports the Member Care Center during periods of high call volume or staffing needs.
• Maintains communications with the main office and prepares standard reports.
• Attends scheduled management meetings and represents the branch appropriately in its relationships with members, the community, and other financial institutions.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory programs such as the Bank Secrecy Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control Program, and Customer Identification Program.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Three to five years of relevant experience.
• A bachelor's degree or formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
• Interpersonal skills to motivate, influence, and train others.
• Physical demands including standing, sitting, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work.

Location

The position is located at the Panama City Beach Branch of Tyndall Federal Credit Union in Panama City, Florida.

Performance Measurements

• Maintains and exceeds annual budgeted operating expenses.
• Maintains and develops a qualified staff sufficient to meet member needs.
• Keeps management informed about key operating issues.
• Provides friendly, professional, and accurate service and support to all members and associates.
• Completes performance reviews within the prescribed time frame.
• Develops and maintains business partner relationships with the community and area schools.
• Completes required BSA/AML training with a passing grade of 80% or higher.
• Accurately completes CTRs and SARs within required timeframe.
• Accurately completes Monetary Instrument Logs for cash purchases of Cashier's Checks, Money Orders, and Travelers Checks as needed.
• Completes required Customer Identification and Red Flags Program requirements, including documentation of discrepancy resolution as needed.
• Must pass registration based on the SAFE Act requirements or already be registered.

Salary

$95,000.00 + potential to earn an incentive bonus.
