The Branch Manager I position at Tri Counties Bank is part of a hiring range from $58,100 to $72,000 annually, with potential for additional incentives. This role offers a competitive total compensation package based on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
- Counsels customers on financial solutions and provides efficient, friendly service.
- Ensures compliance with operational and compliance guidelines, including the Operational Loss Policy.
- Develops and implements branch-specific marketing plans.
- Profiles existing and prospective customers to maintain and expand banking relationships.
- Maintains a database of active prospects and collaborates with Business Banking Officer and CRA/Fair Lending Officer on business opportunities.
- Works with Human Resources to determine recruitment sources and administers HR policies and procedures.
- Manages consumer and small business loans within lending authority, approves credits and overdrafts within overdraft authority, and operates within assigned annual budget guidelines and expense controls.
- Maintains a professional working relationship with store’s management and adheres to PA and aisle visitation schedules.
- Represents Bank in community and civic affairs and conducts branch sales meetings.
- Assists in managing branch operations when both Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager are absent.
- Maintains branch compliance with audit and regulatory procedures and ensures adherence to compliance guidelines.
- Maintains a broad knowledge of banking regulations related to deposit and consumer lending products and ensures proper allocation of FTE according to customer visitation patterns.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required, undergraduate degree preferred.
- Appropriate management experience required.
- Proven successful sales experience, particularly in outbound business calling.
- Experience in a personal banker role preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of consumer and commercial lending.
- Ability to be registered as a mortgage loan originator (MLO).
- Ability to utilize personal computers and Windows driven programs.
- Maintains a current understanding of Bank policies and procedures in compliance with all federal and state laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (SARs, CIP, OFAC), Information Security (GLBA), Identity Theft Red Flags, Financial Elder Abuse Reporting, and any other applicable regulations.
