Position Purpose
Management of, and total accountability for, a branch office in meeting the Credit Union’s administrative, operational, sales, and service objectives. Individuals are responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of employees. They must carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures, as well as all applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Interview, hire, train, and coach employees.
- Create schedules and develop work assignments.
- Evaluate performance and provide feedback.
- Coach and counsel subordinates.
- Implement emergency procedures.
- Develop and conduct branch sales and service programs.
- Implement and monitor the process of member and non-member contact.
- Track and assess results.
- Ensure all staff members are providing consultative member sales and service.
- Conduct member interviews to determine member needs.
- Present members with products and services.
- Open accounts, accept loan applications, and conduct loan closings.
- Act as a liaison between members and departments.
- Resolve errors and member complaints.
- Establish branch and individual performance plans.
- Maintain positive member and staff relationships.
- Establish and maintain a positive community presence.
- Perform operational duties.
- Ensure a satisfactory branch audit.
- Review and monitor the ongoing training progress of staff members.
- Cross-train and encourage coworkers and subordinates.
- Maintain and develop personal skills.
- Participate in community activities.
- Perform administrative duties.
- Prepare and review the Branch Budget and Profitability Report.
- Review and approve attendance reports and timecards.
- Prepare memos and correspondence.
- Complete and transmit timely sales referral and tracking reports.
- Complete other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education/Certification: BA preferred; and a minimum of one year managing a mid-size branch.
