About the role

Manages a Retail Branch, overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure financial success, customer satisfaction, and staff development. Provides executive direction over office and production staff, with dotted-line supervision to operations staff to ensure compliance and high-level customer service. Oversees sales production, service, and human resource responsibilities, achieving sales goals and financial targets while maintaining high-quality processes and ethical sales.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a Retail Branch office, ensuring achievement of production and service goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial objectives.
  • Drive team performance through huddles, meetings, coaching, and leading by example.
  • Personally perform sales activities.
  • Provide leadership to branch supervisors and employees, including daily huddles and regular branch meetings.
  • Perform human resource management tasks: hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, salary increases, coaching, training, development, and disciplinary actions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external business partners to meet assigned goals and customer expectations.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with community leaders, ensuring a significant Bank presence in the community.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for branch success, including business development, customer retention, employee development, succession planning, branch efficiency, and operational soundness.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, prepare reports, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting for the branch.
  • Foster a customer-centric culture, addressing inquiries, concerns, and escalations promptly.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ensure overall branch operational soundness, quality, and efficiency.
  • Support operations with management of FTE for maximum efficiency and positive customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and training standards.
  • Lead active community participation and CRA activities.
  • Travel 0 - 10%.

Requirements

  • High School GED required.
  • 5 years of Banking Experience with an emphasis in Sales required.
  • 3-4 years minimum Management Experience required.
  • Notary License preferred.
  • Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; successful experience managing and leading people.
  • Thorough knowledge of standard banking services, products, and internal operating policies and procedures.
  • Thorough knowledge of small business and consumer credit principles and practices.
  • Ability to motivate employees to provide excellent customer service, demonstrate initiative, and achieve results.
  • Sound working knowledge of small business and consumer credit principles and practices.
  • Considered a customer service role model.
  • Excellent business development skills, particularly related to financial service products.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff from a variety of backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of current applicable federal and state banking regulations.

Pay

$80,168.40 - $139,730 annually. Eligible for Retail Incentive Plan. Final compensation package will be determined by work experience, education, and/or skill level of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.
