Responsibilities
- Direct the profitable operation of a multimillion-dollar pipe distribution business, overseeing inside sales, warehouse, fabrication, and distribution.
- Lead daily activities to ensure employee safety, production accuracy, and optimal performance.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for inside sales, warehouse, fabrication, and distribution.
- Optimize branch-level performance through daily execution of SOPs.
- Recruit, train, and support professionals in inside sales, warehouse, fabrication, and distribution; conduct regular performance appraisals.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through effective process development and management.
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly staffing needs to achieve key performance indicators.
- Foster a healthy, engaging, and enjoyable work environment while promoting safety in all work processes.
- Control the complete Profit and Loss (P&L) for the business to ensure profitability.
- Hire, develop, coach, and train employees; hold the team accountable for productivity, attendance, and goal achievement.
- Provide continuous feedback and conduct annual performance reviews.
- Act as a liaison between upper management and staff, analyzing performance metrics and implementing strategic initiatives.
- Address personnel issues and manage hiring, termination, and timecard processes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Over 5 years of experience leading a team in distribution operations and managing profit and loss (P&L) in the same or a similar industry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker capable of hands-on work and developing actionable plans.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for troubleshooting.
- Outstanding mathematical abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel.
- Detail-oriented, self-directed, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Thrives in a collaborative team environment.
- Physical requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test.

$90,000–$100,000 annually.
