Branch Manager

About the Role

As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the branch. You will lead team members, manage the branch P&L, drive new loan growth, manage the current loan portfolio, and develop strategic business partnerships. Your work will align with RMC’s Mission, Vision, and Shared Values, focusing on helping customers during challenging financial times while fostering community impact.

Responsibilities

• Manage and inspire team members to drive branch profitability.
• Exercise independent judgment in decision-making within company policy guidelines and District Supervisor oversight.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on personal loan products to present solutions that help customers achieve financial goals.
• Maintain branch operations solvency through asset control, credit extension, and follow-up on past-due accounts.
• Build and maintain customer relationships by delivering exceptional service.
• Assign duties, review work for accuracy, and train employees on operations, policies, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Recruiting and District Supervisors to address staffing needs.
• Cultivate relationships with local retail businesses and partner with Account Managers to maintain strong partnerships.
• Oversee daily branch operations, including:
  • Approving and closing loans.
  • Developing resolution plans for past-due customers.
  • Delegating and following up on collection activities.
  • Processing insurance claims and maintaining records.
  • Handling customer communications, payments, and loan documentation.
  • Completing month-end reporting and approving branch expenses.
  • Verifying cash balances and managing supply requisitions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of management experience or completion of required Management Trainee program.
• Valid Driver’s License and access to a dependable automobile with liability insurance coverage.
• Must pass drug screen, criminal, and credit background checks.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of Consumer Finance experience.
• College degree (a plus).
• Willingness to relocate for career advancement.

Schedule

This exempt position typically requires more than 40 hours per week, including Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays and overtime. Not eligible for overtime pay under federal wage-hour law.

Working Conditions

This role operates in a consumer loan office, handling in-person and phone interactions. Occasional driving in a personal vehicle is required.
