About the role
Under the general direction of the Regional Manager, the Branch Manager performs a variety of management functions relating to the operation of our sales office that are important to the success of the company.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of office management, including recruitment, retention, and training of sales associates to build productivity.
- Supervise sales associates and support staff.
- Provide leadership for affiliated businesses and ensure strong fiscal management of the office profit and loss.
- Ensure compliance with Long & Foster Policies and Procedures.
- Maintain an efficient, profitable, and productive operation with a professional office atmosphere; assist associates with sales and performance-related problems.
- Actively promote affiliated company businesses to increase capture rate.
- Participate in community activities, local and state Board of Realtors to enhance the company’s public image.
- Perform other related duties of a comparable type as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field with advanced professional management training, or equivalent work experience and knowledge.
- Six or more years of demonstrated managerial and supervisory experience, with a minimum of three years in real estate.
- Prior supervisory or management experience, preferably in the location of the office.
- Extensive experience in handling real estate transactions, including knowledge of legal obligations under state and federal laws, Department of Commerce Rules & Regulations, Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics.
- Must be a licensed Realtor and broker with continuing education credits in real estate and management.
- Must meet all continuing education requirements to maintain licensure.

Pay
$68,000.00 - $70,000.00 annually; actual wage is based upon education and experience. Potential for formulary incentive plan based on financial results.
