Branch Manager

About the Role

As a Branch Manager at Stoneway Electric Supply, you will lead and develop a branch team to serve customers effectively and profitably while meeting or exceeding sales and net income targets. You will oversee overall branch operations, growth, inventories, and safeguarding of branch assets. This role is ideal for a team-player with strong negotiation, communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate sales efforts within the assigned branch.
• Assist the District Manager with the annual business plan.
• Support account development and make customer support calls as needed.
• Ensure Crescent’s Business System standard processes are implemented and executed at the branch.
• Maintain competitive pricing profiles while achieving margin and profit goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Carry out supervisory duties in line with company policies and applicable laws.
• Ensure all positions are staffed by qualified and trained personnel; handle interviewing, hiring, training, work assignment, performance appraisals, rewards, and discipline.
• Address employee complaints and resolve problems.
• Recommend merit wage increases within the established company wage structure.
• Supervise all branch operations, including purchasing, pricing, quotations, contract review, warehouse activities, and related staff functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or three to five years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Comprehensive computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Eclipse, Microsoft Outlook).
• Previous experience implementing sales strategies and managing income statements/balance sheets (profit and loss).

Pay

The expected rate of pay for this position is $95,000 - $125,000 annually, inclusive of base salary plus a quarterly bonus opportunity.
